I really like that idea of Ultraman as a last resource who is not just there to take the jobs of humans. Sometimes it seems like there is no point in having teams for monster fighting if in the end Ultraman is the one who defeats monsters, but if that is actually intended to be a teaching moment for humans, it really puts things into perspective!

Wow, 14 years? I think it is easier to start a new fic than to continue an old one, since you have said it yourself, perspective and thoughts change in time, so maybe the fic would go in a direction that was completely not intended at first XD

I myself hardly ever write anything these days, it takes too much time and effort :(

That would make sense to hide these things from ordinary humans, but now I imagine the hosts having their own little club with special uniforms which they wear to hang out together in their secret Ultraman base XDD
