Yes, I also got the impression that you prefer not to say anything if you don't have anything nice to say XD But it's not a bad thing, maybe sometimes it's better not to pay so much attention to the bad things and focus on the good things.
That's interesting, I thought Ultra series is such a classic staple on Japanese television, that they can afford to take a break and will be welcomed with open arms afterwards anyway. But I guess these days nothing is guaranteed, if people take a break they may find their spot has been taken.
That sounds about right, if one is generous and not too judgmental, then Ginga is not a bad series, one should just not have high expectations, and I guess my expectations were too high when I watched it, so I didn't enjoy it much...
I didn't know it was supposed to be a retelling of the first series! That sounds interesting, I haven't actually watched any of the really old Ultra series, if you don't count the anime. And I really prefer the serious tone, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if that is something for me!
