It has been a somewhat jerky ride. Have to admit that I really didn't like parts of the episodes in the mid 20's, so it's good that I have mostly forgotten the specifics (that irritated me--though a certain someone mentioned up above was probably the main reason) when I did continue watching the series. In the end I'm happy with it, and glad I stuck around for the finale.

So only the net movie left, and all the sides stuff. But for now, I think I'll take a break from KR Kiva and continue KR Decade (already three episodes in, and the main reason I hurried to finish up Kiva--because I thought I might get the ending of Kiva spoiled).

ETA 2 @ the last minute of this day: Wow, ironically I somehow forgot the ending of Decade 3 and preview for Decade 4.

I don't know why I feel the need to state my feelings on Kiva. Right now they're very mixed. On one hand, I do enjoy watching. On the other hand, I don't feel the need to hurry and catch up. And I've probably forgotten some of what I used to write, so I may have inadvertently contradicted myself...

Well, I've neglected KR Kiva mostly out of necessity, but finally managed to somewhat catch up.

Kiva episode 6: ( Spoilers, though I'm talking more about the characters than about the plot itself. )

...lulled in by all the outward appearance in this show, I mean.

I don't have much to write about KR Kiva despite that, so here are two short observations on episode 2:

EDIT: Okay, so the name is spelled Fangaire, so Fangaire it is.

Well, I watched the first episode of Kiva because I always give a new gen Kamen Rider show at least one episode chance (but whether I continue watching that show is another story). Without saying anything specific about the show itself, I like what I've seen a lot, or, at least, it makes me wish for the next episode already. Still, I can't help wondering about the fascination with different timelines lately. I hope I can at least keep them all straight.

And that's about all I have on Kiva without copying other people. Oh, and given time, ( perhaps a very little detail better not left outside of cut? )

EDIT: Scarily, my thoughts (that I didn't write, for fear of copying) seem similar to comments in kamenrider, even though I didn't read that comm before writing this post. Guess there are just so many ways to look at one thing. Not because of the comm, but just from what I read over time, one thing I wish to see less of is comparison of one show with another show. I would rather judge a show on its own merit, without knowing about and/or considering anything else from other "similar" shows.
