Hotelier 1 (some spoilers)

sennetariSometimes, I think I sound too blunt in my writing. I do apologize if that is the case. But I'm just not very good at expressing myself.
After a few starts, I finally sat down to watch the first episode of Hotelier. I don't dislike it, but I'm not really sure if I want to continue watching this. The tone seems to be all over the place. First there is happiness, so I'm thinking, okay, this will be a light fluffy drama. Then there is tension, so I'm thinking, okay, maybe this will be a power play drama with people climbing on top of each other to be the best. And then there is sadness, so now I'm thinking this may be a serious kind of drama. By the end of it I'm left more confused as to what exactly this drama is supposed to be. And I'm sorry to say that Yuuki Sato's character makes absolutely no impression on me. (Not even of a spoiled brat; at least that would be better for me than feeling nothing for him.) I also find the ending to be highly unrealistic. (I know that the former general manager would eventually return and practically count on it. But if he doesn't want to come back to the hotel for two years, it would take much more work than what I see on screen to convince him to do so.)
