Kamen Rider Hibiki (up to episode 30)

I'm up to episode 30 of Kamen Rider Hibiki (yes, slow is slow). And I'm not sure, but I think they changed writers from episode 25 on? In any case, the changes seem very drastic. They no longer stuck to the two episode format (first one build-up, second one conclusion) and started and stopped the story whenever they felt like it. The way they told the stories were different, too (at times it feels almost like I'm watching some other KR show and not Hibiki), and they seemed to abandon repeating stuff--which used to help audience such as me to not be confused. For instance, now everyone (Takeshi and non-Takeshi alike) is meeting and no scene showing how and why they get together outside of Tachibana's. And then several episodes later, Asumu got beaten up by that same guy (whom he saw shoplifting) from episodes 11-12, but it wasn't clear to me when that happened (I still thought the scene was from that time and it was just his dream...nightmare), but it kind of got cleared up later by other people's reactions that this was more recent happening.
Okay, I can't say I've been misled about Kiriya (man, seemed like I read about him far too often in Den-O threads/discussions), but I tried to keep an open mind. Well, obviously my looking at things on the bright side doesn't work this time. I actively wished for some makamou to gobble Kiriya up since when he showed up at school and basically being a little snob, but with my luck, he'll probably last almost until the end of the series. I really can't give this character a chance (sorry, Channaka), as I suspect he will get progressively worse. (Though I think it might probably be better if there was some other nasty character besides Kiriya, but with a cast full of nice characters, he stuck out a whole lot more.)
(Man, all this much complaining... Maybe I'm making too much of a big deal out of this--and will most likely go back to continue Hibiki anyway--just not now.)
