EDIT: I just noticed that series #8 (the animated movie version) has at least one song by both singers (Rina Aiuchi and U-ka Saegusa) who sing the EDs for UM Nexus. Well...they are friends, perhaps?

I finally had a chance to sit down and watched HanaKimi through the end. Like in most cases where Shunji Igarashi has a minor part in something, I ended up enjoying his drama for its own sake. I try to consider his rare appearances to be bonuses and don't get too concerned if I don't spot him in some scenes. (I know it is sad, but as long as he's a background character, that's not likely to change.)

( Then, me making notes on stuff mostly not related to the plot...very random, out-of-order spoilers for the whole drama. )

So apparently the Hana-Kimi drama, in addition to Shunji Igarashi, also features Hiro Mizushima as well as Igarashi's fellow D-BOYS member Yuu Shirota, and Yusuke Yamamoto, Mizushima's fellow cast member in Kamen Rider Kabuto.
